A spray foam survey is an inspection of foam insulation on the underside of your roof, recording what it is and how the roof timbers are doing.
An inspector enters the roof space, records the foam type, thickness and coverage, takes moisture readings on visible timber and photographs the roof.
It sets out the findings, the limits of the inspection and a clear recommendation. You can pass it to a lender, buyer, solicitor or contractor.
Before selling or remortgaging, when a surveyor flags foam, if you notice damp, or before fitting solar panels or converting the loft.
